Test Technician III
Location: Milpitas, CA
Pay: $35-$42/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-Time
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Test Technician III for a medical device manufacturer in Milpitas, CA. This role is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing electronic assemblies and finished products in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing, verification, and calibration of electronic assemblies and finished products
- Troubleshoot electronic failures to the component level
- Perform PCB soldering, rework, touch-up, and repair
- Diagnose and repair electromechanical assemblies
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
- Document test results, failures, and repair activities
- Support engineering and manufacturing teams with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Maintain test equipment and ensure proper calibration
- Follow all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of electronics testing, troubleshooting, or repair experience
- Component-level troubleshooting experience
- Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and electronic test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or a related field
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- PCB soldering, rework, and repair experience
- Electromechanical troubleshooting experience
- Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience
- Knowledge of FDA, GMP, or ISO-regulated manufacturing environments
